FRACTALS IN NATURE

There is a reason that looking at nature is so calming and good for soul - Fractals. A fractal is a never-ending pattern. In nature, this can be found in branching patterns, like seaweed, trees, river networks, lightning, coastlines, blood vessels etc.  As well as branching patterns it can also be found in spiral patterns like shells, hurricanes and galaxies.  They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. There is something infinitely fascinating about them.
